Lauran Davis
Ms Davis is the Senior Legal Research Officer at the Population Health Research Network hosted by the University of Western Australia. She commenced her legal career with an Associateship at the ACT Supreme Court, an internship at the Australian Parliament and a policy and research position at Legal Aid ACT. She was admitted as a solicitor in 2018 and worked for the ACT Government Solicitor’s Office and in private practice as a litigation and dispute resolution specialist, before transitioning back to research in 2024. Her interests lie in health law privacy and ethics, with a focus on data sharing and data linkage activities facilitating clinical trials and population-level health research.
