Julienne O'Rourke
Julienne O’Rourke is a Technical Officer for Research, Ethics, and Innovation, WHO WPRO. She supports Member States in strengthening public health research (human genomics, clinical trials) and its governance. She brings nearly a decade of experience spanning biomedical research, health policy, communications and international public health.
Prior to joining WHO, she completed postdoctoral research at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden. Julienne holds a PhD in molecular oncology and a bachelor's degree in biomedicine (pharmacology) from the University of Melbourne.
